In 2010, J&A was invited to the largest oil refinery on the west coast to do a Carlisle .60 mil TPO single ply roof on the main batch plant servicing rail cars, and big rigs 24/7. J&A had to graduate from the oil refinery works courses, a 10 hour safety course followed by 3 written exams and a thorough physical exam. We all passed on the 1st run and met our liquidated damages time deadline on completion. Gasoline could resume being dispensed to all of Sourthern California. We recieved a 96.9 on this review by Carlisle. We had to wear fire suits, harnesses, hard hats, and air sensors the entire job. Though extremely hot, it was very rewarding and an experience to remember .
